"For six years, Barack Obama has been saying that "all options" were "on the table" in regard to Iran's nuclear program, meaning that a military option was a real one.

But it turns out that wasn't exactly true.

In an interview with Israeli television on Tuesday, Obama said that a miltary strike was no solution to the Iran nuclear threat and only his plan, a negotiated solution, would work.

“I can, I think, demonstrate, not based on any hope but on facts and evidence and analysis, that the best way to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is a verifiable, tough agreement,” he said.

“A military solution will not fix it. Even if the United States participates, it would temporarily slow down an Iranian nuclear program but it will not eliminate it,” he added.

In other words, Obama never intended to strike Iran. This tells us a few things. First, he misled the American public. Second, he likely misled Israel, which may have had plans to strike Iran but was waiting for the United States to act first. Third, what credibility can there be in Obama's current negotiated deal with Iran if he's been misleading us about his past intentions?"
