The Democrats continue trying to weaken America.
Richard Baehr "America’s social justice warriors are busy at work destroying every foundation of the meritocracy, which enabled generation after generation to advance in America, if they worked and studied hard, and played by the rules . Now , the only thing that matters is that certain identity groups get a specific number of spots in schools or jobs, based on their population shares. Equal opportunity is out the window as a goal. Fifty years ago, Jews experienced prejudice because their share of Ivy league spots would have been much higher if objective factors were the measuring stick. Now it is Asian Americans as the target- at the same Ivy league schools, but also new York City’s special high schools, including the one I attended, Bronx Science. Asians now fill 70% of the spots at Science and Stuyvesant,, based on a difficult exam that is the sole basis for admission.In my time, these schools were 90% Jewish, also based solely on a competitive exam. In other words, the radical egalitarians want to get rid of a neutral measuring stick which provides no advantage to any applicant from any group and replace it with admission standards which assure the proper racial balance.
