HOW WE SHOOT OURSELVES IN THE FOOT with our Jewish kids about Israel

Parents tell me their kids come back from Birthright trips all confused, because of the strong pro-Palestinian experiences they are brought to. Think Palestinians show their kids "both sides"?
And now Hillel is hiring pro BDS educators?
On July 4, 2016, Hillel Senior Jewish Educator Rabbi Jenny Solomon co-led a trip with her husband Rabbi Eric Solomon to Hebron led by Breaking the Silence (BtS), a group that is closely associated with BDS (boycott, divest, and sanction Israel) organizations, harasses Israeli soldiers, and spreads hearsay accusations that demonize Israel that would be inadmissible in a court of law.
College groups were invited to join the trip.
This summer Rabbi Eric Solomon, Rabbi Jenny Solomon’s husband, organized a second BtS trip to Israel—a trip which including meeting with Palestian (but not Israeli) officials and visiting the grave of Arafat to discuss his legacy (but not that of Rabin). This trip raised an uproar within the NC Triangle community.
In the 2015-2016, anti-Semitic attacks on campuses doubled. These attacks are directly correlated with the presence of BDS groups on campus.
This is NOT the time for Hillel to be hiring educators, rabbis, or directors with affiliation to the BDS movement.
Please remove Rabbi Solomon and all other Hillel employees who support BDS-affiliated organizations and please vet all future employees for anti-Semitic/anti-Zionist activities.
Thank you.
Also guys - if you are sharing this post. Make sure you don't hit share - but copy and paste the link. Don't forget this is a closed group!
