Hillary Clinton’s Emails Point to Large Role for Adviser Sidney Blumenthal
Blocked by White House from State Department job, longtime aide maintained an outsize position

WASHINGTON—When Hillary Clinton arrived at the State Department in 2009, she wanted to bring along Sidney Blumenthal, a former Clinton White House aide and one of her closest advisers. His job didn’t materialize, blocked by the Obama White House, but Mr. Blumenthal seems to have come along anyway.
New records from Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary of state show that Mr. Blumenthal, 66 years old, sought an outsize role in advising her, especially for someone with no formal job at the department. He served as political wise man, occasional gate keeper and one-man intelligence service—feeding Mrs. Clinton a steady diet of political advice, foreign-intelligence information, capital gossip and electoral insight in quick email blasts, long memorandums and late-night phone calls.
None of Mrs. Clinton’s coterie of longtime loyalists was more prolific about sending emails than Mr. Blumenthal, based on the released emails to date from her time at the State Department. Although she has described many of Mr. Blumenthal’s memos as “unsolicited,” emails show Mrs. Clinton encouraged him to keep sending material. On election night in 2010, she asked him to “email me results as you get them” and added her thanks “as always” for his insights."

Recipient of Benghazi ‘smoking-gun’ email blaming attack on Internet video
There is a troubling common thread that links Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff to the current special assistant to the National Security Council chief of staff of the military’s Islamic chaplain program.
The thread is more radical than the Muslim Brotherhood. It is the Muslim World League, a group accused of financing al-Qaida fronts. The organization’s offshoots have been declared official terrorist organizations by both the State Department and the United Nations.
Yet despite the troubling facts, Muslim World League-linked individuals have been in key national security positions and are currently helping to run the military’s chaplain program.
The case of Mehdi K. Alhassani, special assistant to the Office of the Chief of Staff of the National Security Council, drew attention last week in the blogosphere after former PLO operative Walid Shoebat reported on Alhassani’s ties to Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups.
Alhassani’s name emerged in an administration email made public last week as part of a Judicial Watch lawsuit. The email was sent three days after the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi attack to Alhassani and other officials from Ben Rhodes, Obama’s deputy national security adviser for strategic communication.
In the email, Rhodes communicates the need to “underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.”
Alhassani, it has emerged, was president of the Muslim Student Association at George Washington University from 2005 to 2006. The MSA was openly founded by Muslim Brotherhood activists.
While the MSA was founded by Brotherhood activists, its roots are far more dangerous and tie into both Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and adviser, Huma Abedin, and Alhassani as well as the military’s chaplain program.
Start-up funding for the MSA was provided by the Saudi Arabian charity the Muslim World League, or MWL whose motto is: Jihad is our way!
YET, even though the above barely scratches the surface, if you dare imagine, it is quite possible that finally the captured media will have to deal with the dangers surrounding the joined-at-the-hip duo, Hill and Huma.

Latest emails reveal the end of Hillary's claim to be a friend of Israel
Over the decades, Hillary Clinton and her husband have posed as friends of Israel, and not so incidentally collected a lot of money from Jewish donors. The latest tranche of emails released by the State Department blow apart any pretense that Hillary is friendly to the Jewish state. Her reliance on Sidney Blumenthal as an advisor, despite the fact that she was forbidden by the Obama administration to employ him as a State Department aide, is now revealed to contain a reliance on the even viler son of a vile man. Jonathan Tobin of Commentary explains:

Max Blumenthal is a radical left wing writer and the author of Goliath, a vicious anti-Zionist polemic that attacks Israel’s right to exist and urges its isolation and ultimate dissolution. As the Daily Caller notes, Sidney sent Clinton some of Max’s pieces supporting the so-called Gaza flotilla and attacking Israel’s attempt to enforce the blockade of the Hamas state in the strip. Other Max Blumenthal pieces passed along by his dad spread libels about Israeli treatment of the Palestinians. Still more sought to highlight “Islamophobia” on the right.
The point here is that Sidney Blumenthal is not just one among many voices whispering in Hillary Clinton’s ears. He is a close friend and, as the emails attest, a valued adviser. Indeed, Clinton kept him close to her despite the fact that the Obama White House wouldn’t let her hire him and sought to keep him away from all policy discussions and decisions.
