Bernie Sanders: Proud, Self-Proclaimed "Democratic Socialist"
Just who is Bernie Sanders, who is running second to Hillary Rodham Clinton and whom few news media outlets wish to really look at closely enough to see his true identity? Firstly, he is a very proud Socialist, and if you don't know what socialism is, a quick definition is needed to show why it is not what our nation, the United States, was born to be.
"Socialism," defined from Webster's Dictionary:
SOCIALISM: (1839) word is born, 1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or government ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods 2a: a system or condition of society in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state 3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.
While we are in the discussion of Socialism, let us look at the difference between Democrat and Socialist--something the DNC cannot state.
Socialist (1833) word is born 1: one who advocates or practices socialism 2 cap a member of a socialist party or political group
Democrat (1740) word is born 1a: an adherent of democracy b: one who practices social equality 2 cap: a member of the Democratic Party of the U.S.
With both of the definitions shown here, clearly, being a Democrat or being a Socialist is nearly the same thing. So, no matter what, if one votes Democrat, they are actually voting for Socialism. It seems that the reason the DNC could not state the difference between the two is that there is no difference.
Bernie Sanders founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus (Note: "Progressive" is the code word for Socialist).

From looking at Bernie Sanders's background, it seems he took lessons from Leon Trotsky, the Russian Communist leader. Bernie Sanders went to the University of Chicago in 1964, where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science. Sanders also joined his first Socialist group then. This seems to show Chicago as being the birth place for Socialism/Communism, since most of the people that came from there are into those ideologies: Obama, Clinton, and Sanders, just to name a few. In 1979, Sanders resigned from the party and worked as a writer and the director of the nonprofit American People's Historical Society.[34] While with the APHS, he made a 30-minute documentary about American Socialist leader and presidential candidate Eugene V. Debs.
Bernie Sanders has a very deep-rooted background in Socialism, and, with that in mind, one should question the Democratic Party and ask if they have made the total move to a Socialist group. What can be clearly observed here is that Sanders was involved with American Socialist leader Eugene V. Debs.
In the 1980's, Sanders did, in fact, communicate with Communists, and this should be shown to the public so they will know.
According to an Accuracy In Media report, Sanders during the 1980s "collaborated with Soviet and East German 'peace committees'" whose aim was "to stop President Reagan's deployment of nuclear missiles in Europe." Indeed, he "openly joined the Soviets'" 'nuclear freeze' campaign to undercut Reagan's military build-up.
If Reagan had listened to Sanders, the Berlin Wall may never have come down and the East Germans would have lived under the Communist rule even longer. One has to wonder why Bernie Sanders, a devout Socialist running for President, can even do so, knowing that the Socialistic ideology is against everything the Constitution stands for. Has our nation become that ignorant, or have we as a nation just become very lazy and un-concerned about what a person really is?
And here are some of the people whom Sanders contacted from the Communist/Socialist ideology that is against our very Constitution:
"In 1985 Sanders traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the rise to power of Daniel Ortega and his Marxist-Leninist Sandinista government. In a letter which he addressed to the people of Nicaragua, Sanders denounced the anti-Communist activities of the Reagan administration, which he said was under the control of corporate interests. Assuring the Nicaraguans that Americans were "fair minded people" who had more to offer "than the bombs and economic sabotage" promoted by Reagan, he declared: "In the long run, I am certain that you will win, and that your heroic revolution against the Somoza dictatorship will be maintained and strengthened.""By no means was Sanders's trip to Nicaragua his only trek to a Communist country. He also visited Fidel Castro's Cuba in the 1980s and had a friendly meeting with the mayor of Havana.""When Sanders in 1988 married his wife, Jane, the couple honeymooned in Yaroslavl, Russia. In an interview with that city's mayor, Alexander Riabkov, Sanders acknowledged that housing and health care were "significantly better" in the U.S. than in the Soviet Union, but added that "the cost of both services is much, much, higher in the United States."In November 1989 Sanders addressed the national conference of the U.S. Peace Council, a Communist Party USA front. It seems that, early on, Sanders was deeply in love with the Socialist/Communist ideology and that is not what our Constitution is about. Our Constitution is about freedom of people, while the Socialist/Communist ideology is about enslavement of the people through government programs, much like what is going on in today's USA.
Sanders has joined groups that are deeply associated with and are a part of the Socialist/Communist attack upon the freedoms of the people of the United States:
"By 1990 Sanders was a leading member of Jesse Jackson's National Rainbow Coalition, and he ran successfully for Congress as a socialist, representing Vermont's single at-large congressional district. The following year, Sanders founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus along with fellow House members Tom Andrews, Peter DeFazio, Ron Dellums, Lane Evans, and Maxine Waters.During the 1990s, Sanders participated multiple times in the Socialist Scholars Conferences that were held annually in New York City."
Yes, this reads like a who's who of the Socialist/Communist parties or people very closely associated with them. Sanders ran as a Socialist, and that should be very troubling to people who love their freedom; but it seems that Bernie Sanders has crossed that fine line of Socialism/Communism to bring people into his line of thinking, which would make our founding Fathers cringe. Sanders does not represent the freedom of our Constitution. He does not represent the people of the United States, and neither does Hillary Clinton, but they both are on the top of the Democrat/Socialist Party today.
We as a people should have seen the signs when dealing with Obama, as Bernie Sanders had great praise for him back in 2006--a fact which should have caused many people to question the ideologies of both of these men. But, once again, the people of the United States, on the Democrat/Socialist, side don't worry about the truth—only what the government will give to them for free.
"In November 2006 Sanders ran successfully for a seat in the U.S. Senate. Then-Senator Barack Obama, whom Sanders described as "one of the great leaders" of that legislative body, campaigned enthusiastically on Sanders's behalf. When a Washington Post reporter asked Sanders just prior to the election: "Are you now or have you ever been a Socialist?" Sanders replied, "Yeah. I wouldn't deny it. Not for one second. I'm a democratic Socialist."
Bernie Sanders is a very proud "democratic Socialist." This one statement should be blasted far and wide to let those people know that he is not right for our nation and that he, like Obama, would not live up to the Oath of office. We must show this because the Lame Stream Media just does not care, as they love the idea of having a Socialistic/Communistic United States—and maybe even changing that to the "United Socialist States."

This demonstrates that the word "Progressive" is deeply associated with Socialists/Communists and, as such, really has no place in our Congress or our nation, as this ideology does not adhere to or support the very Constitution it works under. And yet, Bernie Sanders has support from top Democrats.
"Sanders entered the race for the U.S. Senate on April 21, 2005, after Senator Jim Jeffords announced that he would not seek a fourth term. Chuck Schumer, Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, endorsed Sanders, a critical move as it meant that no Democrat running against Sanders could expect to receive financial help from the party. Sanders was also endorsed by Senate Minority Leader
Harry Reid of Nevada and Democratic National Committee Chairman and former Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Dean said in May 2005 that he considered Sanders an ally who "votes with the Democrats 98% of the time."[63] Then-Senator Barack Obama also campaigned for Sanders in Vermont in March 2006.[64] Sanders entered into an agreement with the Democratic Party, much as he had as a congressman, to be listed in their primary but to decline the nomination should he win, which he did.[65][66]"
Once again we see that the Democrat Party seems to love the Socialist/Communist of the day. How could this happen? How does this continue? Why do leaders of the Democratic Party support a known Socialist/Communist?
Bernie Sanders believes in the false "Global Warming" idea, which has become a very questionable idea since it has been proven that the numbers and "science" used to illustrate this were all wrong.
"Sanders has long maintained that "global warming/climate change" not only threatens "the fate of the entire planet," but is caused chiefly by human industrial activity and must be curbed by means of legislation strictly limiting carbon emissions. In 2007 Sanders and Senator Barbara Boxer proposed the Global Warming Pollution Reduction Act, which, according to an MIT study, would have imposed on U.S. taxpayers a yearly financial burden of more than $4,500 per family, purportedly to check climate change. In February 2010 Sanders likened climate-change skeptics to people who had disregarded the Nazi threat prior to WWII: "During that period of Nazism and fascism's growth … there were people in this country and in the British parliament who said, 'Don't worry! Hitler's not real! It'll disappear!'" Accusing "big business" of being "willing to destroy the planet for short-term profits," Sanders in 2013 said that "global warming is a far more serious problem than al Qaeda." Stating unequivocally that "the scientific community is unanimous" in its belief that "the planet is warming up," Sanders the following year declared that the "debate is over" and emphasized the importance of "transform[ing] our energy systems away from fossil fuels."
Our nation can support itself on the oil, natural gas, and coal we have within our national boundaries. Yet, Sanders and all like him seem to wish to ignore this fact and continue their assault upon our natural resources. Bernie Sanders is what our forefathers, the designers of the Constitution, warned us about. But today, we as a nation seem to have taken our eye off the ball and allowed this type of anti-American rhetoric to continue instead of standing tall and telling them they have no place in a real free nation.
"Over the years, Sanders's political campaigns have received strong support from such organizations as the AFL-CIO, the American Association for Justice, the Backbone Campaign, the Council for a Livable World, the Democratic Socialists of America, and Peace Action.Sanders is a strong supporter of the Apollo Alliance, a coalition of environmentalists and big labor that wants the federal government to take over America's energy industry."
The items listed above read like a who's who of the Socialist/Communist agenda that is working to take over the free United States and design a far worse nation than the one we have now. It may not be a nation free of many problems, but it is a nation free of Socialism/Communism on a grand scale. But with Bernie Sanders, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and others, our nation is fast approaching the day when our freedom will give way to the Socialistic/Communistic ideology of only 2 types of people: the elite and the slaves the elite control. We do not wish to see this, and we do not wish to know that we failed to show the truth and make sure people know just who people like Sanders and Clinton really are and just what their long-range plans are. They do not bode well for true freedom, and they both wish to "control" every facet of our lives if "WE THE PEOPLE" close our eyes to their acts of aggression upon our Constitution and freedoms.
It is up to "WE THE PEOPLE" to make the choice: be free or be a slave to the Socialists/Communists like Sanders and Clinton. It is your choice—do you wish to be free, or do you wish to be a slave to the government?
